Wing Chun Topic
In the Wing Chun portion of this years event, we will be covering “Wing Chun Bridging Concepts.”
The word “Bridging” is a phrase we use to explain the action of making first contact on the limbs. Wing Chun style uses a very strategic set of concepts in order to take that contact and then flow to interceptions, close range strike combinations, arm and leg traps, and complete body knock downs.
We’ll cover several methods of how we catch and intercept kicks. As well as how we use long range hand techniques to connect and control the hands of our opponent.
